3 Icons

This project emphasized the importance of research in the design process and challenged me to create a cohesive set of three illustrated icons inspired by San Francisco’s history.

I focused on the city’s early hip-hop culture, highlighting sideshows, DJing, and graffiti. The sketchbook-inspired textures and binder paper elements were influenced by my childhood memories of sketching and creating with my cousins.
